Jacob Black
Jacob Black practices primarily in real estate and corporate law. He has experience with landlord-tenant litigation, residential property transaction disputes, and transactional law.
Prior to joining Drummond Law, PLLC, Jacob served as the Research and Instructional Services Librarian at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, as an associate attorney with private Oklahoma firms working on transactional matters, and as an associate attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma representing indigent clients in eviction proceedings.
Jacob graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in letters from the University of Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2020, where he served as a Research Assistant for Professor Stephen E. Henderson and as a Note and Comment Editor on the Oklahoma Law Review. In addition, Jacob earned numerous academic awards including the Oklahoma Law Review’s Gene H. & Jo Ann Sharp Law Review Award (Best Note) and the Nathan Scarritt Prize for the highest academic record in the OU Law Class of 2020.
Jacob is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and admitted to practice in Oklahoma and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
